This quick, 2 hour course offers teachers basic information regarding how to find, read, understand, and contribute to IEPs and 504 plans during ESE staffing meetings. Learn about what types of plans may be present for your students, what they entail, and the statutes that surround following and documenting your adherence to these legal documents. Based on concepts found in SB1108, this quick course provides the essential knowledge needed to teachers to understand and implement accommodations in their classroom, using Polk-specific programs. After attending class and completing the follow-up, participants will earn 4 general in-service points!
