PEA General Knowledge Exam (GKE) Prep Course ONLINE (ELA Portion) via ZOOM

PEA is proud to announce another offering of our General Knowledge Exam Prep Course, ELA portion! This course is designed to help prepare you for the ELA portion of the FTCE General Knowledge Teacher Exam (required for most teachers to convert from a temporary to a professional certificate–please reach out to PCPS Certification Department if you aren’t sure you need to pass this exam).

The PEA General Knowledge Exam Prep Course (ELA Portion) is 6 hours total over 3 days. Participants who complete ALL THREE classes must enroll in the NetConnect course and complete the reflection questions at the end of the course to receive their 6 in-service points.

• All PEA-offered professional development is FREE to PEA members.  If you are not a member and would like to take this course, please join your union by going to our website www.polkea.org

You must attend the entire session of each class and complete reflection work to receive in-service points.  Those days and times are:

• Day 1: Tuesday, October 8th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm via Zoom
• Day 2: Thursday, October 10th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm via Zoom
• Day 3: Tuesday, October 15th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm via Zoom

Those accepted into the course will be notified and receive the Zoom link a few days before class starts.
